AI Audiences and a Couple Writing Exercises

With all the talk of AI writers and artists, I started to wonder about the need for AI audiences. I overcame my lethargy and posted a couple of writing exercises.

AI Audiences

I had this thought some time ago when I started to hear about AI writing and art programs. If people think they can replace writers and artists, then would they be open to having AI audiences that were programed to enjoy AI produced art? Maybe there is an opportunity for AI customers of other AI products.

I think this could be the basis for a story. It would be a satire of course. So far, no specific story lines have come to mind.

I’ve talked about this idea to a few people and I’m not entirely sure what were my ideas, and which were other people’s ideas.

“The Unthreatening Dancer and the Resistant Flutist”

4 Minutes

A flutist and a dancer negotiate the music she will dance to.

I got lazy when it came to create an image to go with the exercise. I used Bing’s AI art program. It took several tries before I got something I thought was OK.

The Fate of the Experimental Musician”

3 Minutes

Detectives discuss the case of Experimental Musician Lewis van der Graaf.

While recording it, I felt that the story didn’t really make much sense. I wrote it as a detective story and focused on a conversation between a couple of detectives about the death of the musician.

I used Bing’s AI art program again. It took me longer to get an image I thought was OK.
